Our summer camps are designed to give athletes the opportunity to learn and play outside of our traditional indoor season. In 2024, we're offering fundamental skill camps, elite position training camps with NCAA Division 1 Coaches from Boise State University, and have Olympic Gold Medalist Ryan Millar hosting our Strike Academy All Skills Camp and a Special Event: The Middle Blocker Academy! Whether you're just starting out or are looking to elevate your game to the next level, Idaho Strike has a camp for you. *Note: While we are an exclusively boys volleyball club, some of our camps have girls sessions.

Each year we bring collegiate coaches to our gym to give our athletes the best possible experience at an affordable rate.  This year, we're stepping up our game.

Our Strike Academy with Olympic Gold Medalist Ryan Millar is perfect for athletes interested in developing their Gold Medal Mindset and a high-level skillset to prepare them for the more advanced dynamics of the game. Recommended for athletes 13-18 who are serious about competing and developing a high-level understanding of the game.

This camp will have a session for boys and a session for girls, however both sessions have limited spots!

Ryan's Bio:

After starting his professional career in 1997 touring with the USA Volleyball Team, Ryan went on to compete in three Olympic Games. In 2008, he helped the USA win their first Olympic Volleyball Gold Medal in twenty years at the Olympic Games in Beijing, China. He also competed in four World Cups, three World Championships, five World League Finals, and four Olympic Qualification Tournaments before eventually retiring from playing in 2012. Ryan was inducted into the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame as an All-Time Great Player in 2023. Ryan played twelve professional seasons in Italy, Turkey, Poland, Russia, and Puerto Rico. 

Ryan was the Head Coach for the BYU Men’s Volleyball team during the 2006/2007 season. He complied at 24-6 record eventually coaching two Olympians, six professional players, three NCAA All-Americans, and the NCAA Freshman of the Year. Currently Ryan is the Associate Head Coach for the Miramar College Men’s Volleyball Team. He has coached the team to back-to-back PCAC conference titles.

The Middle Blocker Academy with Olympic Gold Medalist Ryan Millar is a unique opportunity for athletes to get specialized instruction from one of the best in the business. Develop a robust understanding of Middle Blocker footwork, eye work, offensive and defensive techniques, and more in this specialized training session.  Recommended for athletes 13-18 who are serious about competing and developing a high-level understanding of the Middle Blocker position.

This camp is a COED camp and will have limited spots available.

This year, we are partnering with D1 Coaches from Boise State University to offer Strike Academy: Elite Position Training Camps that are perfect for athletes interested in developing a specialized and high-level skillset in targeted areas in order to elevate their game. Recommended for athletes 12 -18 who are serious about competing on the court. These camps are open to boys and girls!

  • June 24/25: Elite Serve/Pass Camp
  • July 8/9: Elite Attacker/Blocker Camp

This camp is designed to introduce your athlete to the fundamentals of volleyball. This camp is hosted and ran by our Coaches and provides your athlete with a fun, relaxed atmosphere where they can explore the different aspects of the game.
